The Enatai Elementary PTSA invites you to a special screening of the new documentary, Screenagers: NEXT CHAPTER (2019) on Thursday, February 6th at 5:15 p.m. The screening will be held in the Chinook Middle School Commons.  Screenagers: NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience examines the science behind teen’s emotional challenges, the interplay of social media, and most importantly, what can be done in our schools and homes to help them build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety, and depression in our digital age.

The Bellevue Schools Foundation is sponsoring the February screening. The PTSAs of Chinook, and International School will co-host, along with Enatai.

JUST ANNOUNCED: 
There will be a special guest speaker following the Screenagers Next Chapter film: Dr. Don Shifrin, distinguished pediatrician and expert on childhood health and media issues. Dr. Shifrin is seen on TV weekly as the resident pediatrician on KING 5 Morning News on KONG. He is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. For 39 years, he was in private practice at Pediatric Associates, now Allegro Pediatrics (an Enatai PTSA Corporate Partner in Education).

Dr. Shifrin has an extensive background speaking about children and screen time. Always up-to-date on the latest issues, he is a dynamic communicator with a knack for dispensing parenting advice in a memorable engaging way.

The Enatai Elementary PTSA is pleased to welcome back Dr. Shifrin, who previously spoke at Enatai in 2017 after a showing of the original Screenagers documentary.
