The next Movie Night will be Friday, January 5, 6:00-8:00 p.m. We will be screening a classic: The Wizard of Oz (1939). Rated “G” for general audiences, the film ranks #6 on the American Film Institute's list of "100 Greatest American Films". Mark your calendar now. The date is the first Friday after we return from winter break, and it may sneak up on you if you don't make note of it now. The Wizard of Ozstars Judy Garland as Dorothy, a Kansas farm girl who finds herself stranded in the strange land of Oz. This classic is meant to be seen on a big screen like the one we have in the Multipurpose Room. It features lush cinematography, and one of the most enduring songs of all time, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.
The snack bar will feature fresh hot popcorn! Bring blankets and pillows. Chairs are available, but you may also bring your own. Please keep your folding high-back chairs on the perimeters. This is a family event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free, thanks to your donations to PTSA.
