While International Taste of Enatai is a celebration for our community, Multicultural Week is a special time for our students.

Rhythms of India visited our school on Monday and gave students an opportunity to experience Bollywood and Bhangra dancing and music for themselves.  Students learned the background of each dance and practiced steps before dancing their way through two songs for an exciting morning recess.

On Tuesday, students had the opportunity to listen to Roger Fernandesa Native American storyteller from Washington, during their lunch recess.  Mr Fernandes uses stories as a natural medium for teaching and questions his students to further their understanding.  His stories taught lessons about compassion and our relationships with each other and the natural world.

Thank you to our volunteers for helping us bring back Multicultural Recesses!   And thank you to the Enatai PTSA whose support of this event has allowed us to bring more fun cultural experiences to our students!
