Enatai's Multi-Cultural Week (March 19-23) culminates in one of the most anticipated events of the year, the International Taste of Enatai, March 23rd from 6-8pm.  We will be sending a separate email later this weekend chock-full of details about this event, but until then, here are the highlights:

There will be FOOD - By sharing your favorite dish you are bringing your heritage to the Enatai Family table. Food can be homemade or bought from your favorite restaurant. Decorations for your country's food table and backdrop are also encouraged!

There will be ACTIVITIES - Activities such as simple crafts or a game can be a great way to share your culture. Coloring pages or worksheets about your country are also easy and do not require a table monitor.  We will contact you regarding the space/time needs of your activity once you have signed up.

There will be CULTURAL PERFORMANCES - A big part of a culture is in its expression in music and dance, or unique rituals and traditions. Enatai will offer a chance for students to share their cultural traditions by way of live cultural performance during our multi-cultural night.  Family and friends are welcome to help and perform together with students for this event.

There will be a FASHION SHOW - To participate in the fashion show, students should dress in traditional clothes either from a country of your heritage or of your choice.  Simply show up the at the Taste of Enatai and join the fashion parade when announced part way through the evening. You will be instructed that night on where to go and what to do.  There is no pre-registration required for the fashion show.  Just show up and participate!

More Ways to Participate:

- We need a few more Country Leads.  Please look at the list in the above Volunteer Dashboard, or this Google Doc, and let the committee know if you are willing to help by being a Country Lead.

- We also need help with Event Set-Up.

- We know that a few additional General Adult Volunteers would make the night run smoothly.

Can't wait for the event-specific email?  Co-chair Rae Okamoto has put together an amazing Volunteer Guide for this event.  Check it out!!
