PTSA budgets both income and expenses based on events that we have held historically and have chairs for the upcoming year.   Events or special projects without Chairs run the risk of being cancelled for the year.   As of this date the following events and special projects do not have a Chair:   Toast to Enatai The biggest and most important PTSA fundraiser of the year. Enatai Kids Help Raise Money for Hopelink's End Summer Hunger Program
About 16% of Enatai Elementary's student population receives free or reduced-price lunches.   During the summer time the loss of school meals causes challenges for these families.  Part of the  Hopelink  End Summer Hunger program focus is on  kids helping kids  through classroom coin drives. Another Sucessful Scholastic Book Fair!
Thanks to the many volunteers, parents, teachers, staff, and students who helped make our Spring Scholastic Book Fair a success! We sold over $9400 in books. With some of our scholastic dollars, Enatai PTSA was able to purchase $2000 of new books for each classroom and school library.  Our All for Book Donations coin box collected $35 for the school library and we had $340 donate from our parents to help purchase books for their teacher's classroom.  Without all the many wonderful parent volunteers we would not be able to have such a fantastic book fair.  Thank you to the following parents: Ashley Dolan, Amy Franck, Aletha Howes, Amy Lee, ... read full article

We've been getting reports of dangerous driving behavior in the pick-up and drop-off lane.   Here are a couple of tips to keep everyone safe and sane: During Drop-Off: -  Time is your friend .  The closer you get to the 7:50 mark, the crazier it is.  Avoid the crazy by coming to school a few minutes earlier. - When entering the pickup lane,  pull all the way forward .  The pickup lane starts at the crosswalk, so if there is nobody else there, pull all the way to the crosswalk.  This allows the most number of cars to use ... read full article

March 20th to March 23rd  is a time of cultural exploration for our students!   Multicultural Week at Enatai features morning greetings in different languages, lessons discussing community and diversity, decorations, and a special  Friday  recess for our students! Enatai students have participated in some exciting activities recently, thanks to the Enatai PTSA's support! Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade have all had wonderful workshops with the Toymaker Rick Hartman in the last month, connecting with each grade's FOSS science units and providing each student with a neat toy they made themselves. The 4th grade also enjoyed a visit from Roger Fernandes, who provided each class with a presentation of Native American storytelling, connection with their social studies unit on Washington State History.
