The Scholastic book fair will be coming  Oct 1-5th .   There will be lots of great new books including  Super Narwhal and Jelly Jolt, Dog Man Lord of the Fleas  and  Ranger in Time Hurrican Katrina Rescue.   Pre-order the latest  Dairy of a Wimpy Kid-The Meltdown! Yearbook Co-Chair Needed!
Stephanie Hill-Harris, our Yearbook Chair of many years, ( Thank you, Stephanie!! ) has graduated and a new Yearbook Team is needed to coordinate and create our school's yearbook.   A generous parent has already stepped forward to take up the technical aspects of creating the yearbook itself.  Gigi Liu, a working parent, has volunteered to be Yearbook Co-Chair in charge of composing the Yearbook.  A Co-Chair or Chairs are now needed to round out this team! Backpack Meals: Looking for Delivery Drivers
Backpack Meals for Kids  is a non-profit organization that works with the Bellevue School District to provide free, easy-to-make meals each  Friday  for students that may not otherwise have food to eat over the weekend. Thank you to those of you who were able to attend our PTSA General Meeting on Wednesday night!   This well attended meeting included reports from the Principal, President, Treasurer, Staff, and Committees.  In a grueling marathon of cash flow analysis with strict reprisals for veering off-course, we reviewed next year's budget and turned to our Officer Elections for 2018-2019.  A floor nomination for incumbent President Amy Hart was made, resulting in the exciting unprecedented news that the position of President had two very competent and capable competing candidates: Amy Hart and Pam Unger.  Voting was concluded with a very narrow margin separating the two ... read full article
