VIP party starts at 5:30pm
Main event starts at 7pm
Toast to Enatai is the biggest PTSA fundraiser of the year and this year promises to be another amazing celebration of our school and community! Each admission ticket includes wine, beer, and delicious small bites catered by Purple restaurant. Cocktail attire is recommended.
This year we are excited to offer a limited number of tickets to a VIP Dinner Party before the main event. This fabulous dining experience will include a multi-course Italian-inspired meal with carefully selected wine pairings. The cost of the VIP ticket also includes your entrance to Toast to Enatai. Don’t miss this wonderful way to kick off your evening of giving with our Enatai community.
Each ticket price is offered at cost and is therefore not tax-deductible. All donations made at the event are tax-deductible. Ticket prices will be: $65 single Toast ticket, $130 VIP ticket (includes dinner party AND Toast entry), $65 teacher gift ticket
Tickets go on sale January 2 at enataiptsa.org. Look for more information coming home in your child’s backpack in early January.
The Toast to Enatai is a "Parents Night Out" party fundraiser and is the biggest PTSA fundraiser of the year to help achieve our $100,000 goal by June. We use the funds raised to pay for important items like:
- Reading & Math instructional aides ($60,000) to help extend and support students in Reading and Math
- Curriculum Enhancement ($25,000) which includes Field Trips, assemblies, special guest speakers, and more.
- The YMCA Recess program ($12,000), which has been an incredible help keeping kids engaged (and therefore out of trouble) at lunch recess.
- Library books ($5,000) to help our library stay up to date with materials.
- And many more fun and engaging programs with smaller budgets, like Science Fair, Art Docent, Reflections Art Contest, Variety show, Multicultural night, Movie night, Welcome back coffee, Teacher appreciation and much more!
At the Toast To Enatai, you will have opportunities to sign up to attend parent hosted parties like a Wine Tasting Party, Ladies' Bunco Night, and Minute To Win It. We will also have Teacher Experiences for your child like Teacher Of The Day, Game Day and Movie Day!
There will also be a short live auction featuring items like “Name the Playground" and "Principal for the day". Enjoy appetizers, drinks, music and meeting fellow Enatai parents. Make this a date night, mom’s night, or dad’s night and enjoy a fun night out celebrating and supporting Enatai!
Please click here to sign up to volunteer at the next Movie Night on Friday, January 5, 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Wizard of Oz (1939) is the featured attraction. Rated “G” for general audiences, the film ranks #6 on the American Film Institute's (AFI) list of "100 Greatest American Films". The date is the first Friday after we return from winter break, so make note of it now!
The Wizard of Oz features Judy Garland singing the unforgettable “Over the Rainbow,” considered by AFI to be the greatest movie song of all time.
Fun surprises are always in store at Movie Night! Enjoy fresh hot popcorn, licorice and bottled water from the snack bar. Bring blankets and pillows. Chairs are available, but you may also bring your own. Please keep your folding high-back chairs on the perimeters. This is a family event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free, thanks to your donations to PTSA.
Check out the review on commonsensemedia.org to determine if The Wizard of Oz is appropriate for your child.
Please save the date of Tuesday, February 6, 2018 to Celebrate Enatai at 65, a special community event to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Enatai Elementary School. The event will take place 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the library. There will be memorabilia on display, special guests, and a fascinating historical presentation. Come journey back in time to learn how Enatai Elementary School started, and what it was like to be a student here in 1953! This event is geared towards older children and adults. More details to follow… If you are interested in helping out with this event, please contact 3rd grade parent Sharon Pang.

~ Have a wonderful Winter Break, everyone! ~
Send me an email with the subject WINTER BREAK and I'll put your name in in the drawing for one of TWO $5 Starbucks cards. Yep - two this time. I bought two pounds of SBUX Coffee last weekend and they gave me a $5 gift card with each one (woohoo!). I'm grateful to those of you who read this thing I put together each week, so I thought I'd pass 'em both on. :) I'll draw two names on Sunday, Dec 17. Good luck!
