Int'l Taste of Enatai - TONIGHT @ 6pm!

We hope that you can join us TONIGHT to celebrate the wonderful diversity of our school at the INTERNATIONAL TASTE OF ENATAI from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm!  This event is FREE to Enatai families.

Our amazing Enatai Community has come together to prepare an incredible multicultural celebration! Your family will be able to sample dishes & try crafts from more than 20 different countries. Over 60 of our own students will be modeling traditional costumes from around the world.  We will have a family photo booth to get pictures of your family.

You will be entertained by a Viennese Piano Performance, a Chinese Folk Dance, and other cultural arts.  Families will also be able to participate in a mini Irish Dance lesson!

Mark our world map with stars to represent your family's original home and meet our Assistant Principal, Ali Sameti, at our Community Table.  The Early Learning Program, English Language Learners Program and Family Connections representatives will also be there to meet families.

We need some muscle! The Enatai Multipurpose Room will be transformed for this event and we could use some more help making it happen! We will get started setting up just after school dismissal at 2:30 pm. Cleanup starts at 8:00 pm. THANK YOU!

We look forward to celebrating Enatai's rich diversity with you!!

General Meeting Re: Budget -- March 27 6:30PM

All PTSA Members are invited to a very important General PTSA Meeting on March 27th at 6:30PM.  We will be discussing the budget in "Big Picture" mode.   At this meeting, you will gain a better understanding of PTSA finance and budgeting.  What does PTSA pay for?  How do we decide what to fund?  How is PTSA different from other funding sources?  How and why do we raise the funds we use for PTSA programs?  Where does our budget stand now?  These questions and more will be discussed.

Additionally, our school administration would like to request a portion of funds be allocated to hire additional help at recess and lunches for the remainder of the current school year.  A membership vote is required to allocate these funds, as the Enatai PTSA Board of Directors is only authorized to approve up to $1000 without a vote of the membership.  We hope to see you there!!

Staff Appreciation Week is April 30-May 4

We need volunteers to make this week a success. Volunteer opportunities include:
  • Tuesday, May 1: Send your kids to school with fresh cut flowers for staff bouquets. In addition to flowers, we need parents to donate vases and help assemble and distribute flower arrangements.
  • Wednesday May 2: This is our big event of the week! We will host a staff appreciation lunch for all staff in the library from 1-2pm.  Each grade level will be responsible for a table of 10 (linens, place settings, decorations/flower centerpiece, etc.)  We need all parents to contribute food/beverage items.
The sign up tool will be circulated among all classes by Friday, April 6. We will also need volunteers the day of the event to help set up, serve, and clean up.  Contact Staff Appreciation Chair Jennifer Berry at jenncberry@gmail.com for more information.
