Enatai Dad Joe Harris came to the board meeting on Wednesday and said he would like to co-chair BOTH the Variety Show (June 8) and the Carnival (June 15), but will need co-chairs for these events. Joe is a contractor by trade and AMAZING with logistics and making things happen (Joe was also the mastermind behind the Haunted House last fall!), but not so great with the email and volunteer coordination. Joe would like a partner who would be willing to take on that part.
If you are interested in helping Joe make either or both of these events happen, please email communications@enataiptsa.org and I will get you in touch with him. THANK YOU!!!
We feel like we could be leveraging Social Media better than we are now for event & meeting reminders, keeping everybody in the loop, sharing BSD, BSF and Bellevue PTSA Council news, etc. Next year's newsletter editor is not on Facebook at all, so we are looking for someone who would be willing to, for the remainder of this year and also for the 2018-2019 school year, be Enatai PTSA's Social Media Manager. This volunteer position would mostly consist posting items on Facebook and creating Facebook Events. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, please let Kerry know. Thanks!
Join the 30th Annual Spring for Schools Benefit Luncheon on Friday, April 27 at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency. Join 1,000+ community members to continue the tradition of celebrating and supporting students in Bellevue public schools. If you have not been to the luncheon, please consider going. It is a truly wonderful, heart-warming event with wonderful speakers and a great program highlighting all that the Bellevue Schools Foundation does for our students.
Learn more about Spring for Schools or register now. If you have questions about the luncheon, please email our BSF Liason, Enatai mom Kathy Green-Wilson.
Join us on April 26th 6:00-7:30pm in the Enatai Gym for an evening of interactive science fun! We encourage students from all grade levels to participate and share their findings with friends and families at the event.
Getting started is easy - download the information packet here and think of a question that can be tested in a simple experiment (more information on the process included in the packet). Printed copies of the packet are also available in the office. Science Fair is also an optional component of the Academic Adventure Program for students working towards an award!
We are looking for volunteers to help on the night of the event. If you can help, please sign up here. Questions? Email Susan Goeben: sciencefair@enataiptsa.org
On Monday, March 26, 5th Graders enjoyed their last TOYMAKER Experience with Mr. Hartman. During their time they made cars that moved with a rubber bands & a ruler. It was fun watching students create and use their handmade cars. They were able to learn about variables, motion and resistance which was directly related to what they learned in their Foss Science Unit.
