The 2018 JOG-A-Thon packet went home in student's backpacks early this week! It has all the details on this FUN event, including how to use our online fundraising system, PledgeStar.com/Enatai. Use this new system as a convenient way to help us reach our fundraising goals. Students will run or walk during their lunch recess on Wednesday, May 16th. Parents are welcome to attend! This year EVERY participating student will be given a JOG-A-THON t-shirt!

There are LOTS of jackets, umbrellas, water bottles, and odds and ends waiting for their owners to reclaim them in Enatai's Lost and Found!
The Lost and Found is located just past the office on the left when you enter the Lobby. Items in the Lost and Found are periodically donated when the closet is cleaned out. Come take a look! Thank you!
Thank you to everyone that participated and volunteered at the Science Fair last week! We had a great turnout of students showcasing their experiments plus a few science demonstrations from Mad Science and Nature Vision.
A special thank you to Angela Dunavant and Amy McDonald for hosting the Family Engineering Challenge - lots of creative cars were built and tested that evening!

Thanks to the generous attendants of our Spring event, our current Spring for Schools total is $825,000.
WOW!!! You made our 30th Annual Spring for Schools one for the books.
The power of our collective civic effort was so beautifully illustrated by our students:
- Izayiah, who benefited from transformational programs--from early reading support to AVID, the BOOM Experience, and Naviance. Because of you, he has a bright future ahead.
- And Caroline, who gained the tools to turn her zeal for academics and social justice into thoughtful action through AP Capstone.
- Gwyneth, Newyu, and Isaak will be the engineers, veterinarians and computer scientists of the future...and students in the Pacific Special Education program will have the same opportunity to excel--all because of Sherwood Forest’s K-5 STEM integration. Again, made possible by donors like you.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for joining us, for opening your heart, for being a proud 'civic engineer,' and for making educational excellence for every child a priority for our community.
