We hope that you can join us TONIGHT to celebrate the wonderful diversity of our school at the INTERNATIONAL TASTE OF ENATAI from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm! This event is FREE to Enatai families.
Our amazing Enatai Community has come together to prepare an incredible multicultural celebration! Your family will be able to sample dishes & try crafts from more than 15 different countries. Over 40 of our own students will be modeling traditional costumes from around the world. You can try on Korean hanbok, make a Japanese origami ninja star, try your hand at Chinese paper-cutting, and play Taiwanese night market mini-pinball. You will be entertained by a Hawaiian hula performance, a Chinese martial arts display, and other cultural arts. Families can also take photos for an Enatai Art project.
We need some muscle! The Enatai Multipurpose Room, Lobby and STEM Room will be transformed for this event and we could use some more help making it happen! We will set up between 2pm and 5pm. Stop and help for whatever time you can. Middle and High School students can volunteer for community service credit by meeting at the Stage at 5:30pm. Cleanup starts at 8:00 pm. THANK YOU!
We look forward to celebrating Enatai's rich diversity with you!!

While International Taste of Enatai is a celebration for our community, Multicultural Week is a special time for our students.
Rhythms of India visited our school on Monday and gave students an opportunity to experience Bollywood and Bhangra dancing and music for themselves. Students learned the background of each dance and practiced steps before dancing their way through two songs for an exciting morning recess.
On Tuesday, students had the opportunity to listen to Roger Fernandes, a Native American storyteller from Washington, during their lunch recess. Mr Fernandes uses stories as a natural medium for teaching and questions his students to further their understanding. His stories taught lessons about compassion and our relationships with each other and the natural world.
Thank you to our volunteers for helping us bring back Multicultural Recesses! And thank you to the Enatai PTSA whose support of this event has allowed us to bring more fun cultural experiences to our students!
We had many people sign up for many of our teacher experiences and hosted parent parties at the Toast To Enatai event on March 9th. If you were unable to attend the event, but still want sign up and support Enatai PTSA, you are in luck! The following experiences still have some slots available:
- Outing For 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Boys! - Kindergarten Movie Afternoon - 2nd Grade Movie Afternoon - 3rd Grade Games and Snacks - 5th Grade Movie Afternoon - Champagne Flowers on A Beer Budget - Happy Hour Boat Cruise - 2nd Grade Parent Italian Dinner Party |
