If you don't see your child's name on the list above, we have not received a Final Entry Form for your student. If your child completed 4 or more of the above adventures and has yet to turn in the Final Entry Form, please email: academicadventure@enataiptsa.org to get proper credit for all of their adventures by Wednesday, May 29 since awards will be ordered soon.

If Academic Adventure helped your student to build grit by sticking with a long-term goal, please email: academicadventure@enataiptsa.org so we can gauge interest for next year.  Plans for next year's program are underway, and your ideas are welcome.

Congrats to all who participated!

Congratulations Enatai Girls on the Run!

Over the last 10 weeks, 15 Enatai girls in 3rd through 5th grade participated in an after-school Girls on the Run program. The Girls on the Run program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. At the end of the program, the girls participated in a 5k fun run. Congratulations to Adya, Trinity, Katherine, CiCi, Sydney, Yasmine, Saige, Nava, Mia, Anna, Taresa, Olivia, Sydney, Lulu and Mimi! You all achieved your goals of being unstoppable at the 5K run this past weekend!

A special thanks to Enatai staff Sharon Neal, Autumn Perconti and Marnie Kazarian for all their time and efforts coaching these girls!

Enatai Kids Help Raise Money for Hopelink's End Summer Hunger Program

About 16% of Enatai Elementary's student population receives free or reduced-price lunches. During the summer time the loss of school meals causes challenges for these families. Part of the Hopelink End Summer Hunger program focus is on kids helping kids through classroom coin drives. This is a great way to show that Enatai students can make a difference when their spare change is added together.

During the week of June 10th-14th, students will be collecting coins in their classrooms. Please help encourage your student(s) to bring coins in to contribute to their classroom collection. Our Enatai community can also help our students NOW with online donations. Please share our Enatai Elementary student page with your friends and family. Together our students and generous community can ensure kids have enough to eat during the summer.

Last year we collected close to $3000 to support this program. Let's see what our Enatai community can do this year!! Thanks for your continued support!

Wanted: Boxtops final round up

It is time for the FINAL Box Tops for Education round up for this school year.  This school year we have collected $292 worth of box tops?  This money helps the school purchase recess equipment.

Please take a look around your house for box tops (ziploc bags, cereals, tissues, paper supplies, etc).  Here's a list of participating products. Each box top earns 10 cents for the school. Send box tops in an envelope to have your student give to your teacher or drop your box top collection in the front office by June 14th.  Ask your friends, family and neighbors.  This is an easy way to help support your Enatai students!  If you played the Safeway Monopoly game and won free box tops, please send those in ASAP to allow us to earn those before they expire on May 28th.
Thanks for your help!

Over the summer, you'll begin to see some participating brands change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.  Going forward, instead of clipping from packages and checking expiration dates, all Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt. The Box Tops for Education team is hard at work building a NEW-and-improved, user-friendly Box Tops mobile app that will be ready this summer!

Book donations, end of year book checkout, and inventory help

A Message from our Librarian:

If you have any books you would like to donate to our year end book swap in the library, I am accepting donations until Friday June 14. This event will be happening in library class (K-4th grade) on the last full week of school.

In addition, the last day for students to check out book in our library is Monday, June 3. After that, all books need to be returned by Monday, June 10 so that I can inventory the library.  If you cannot find the book, please contact me so we can make arrangements to clear up your child's account.

From June 10 to June 19, I am looking for help in the library to inventory 11,000+ books. The first few days would entail helping to get all of the books on the shelves in order. After that, it’s scanning each book to determine which ones are lost. If you have any time in the day to help out, please contact me. I would be most appreciative.

Thank you.
Ms. Lee
Librarian

Thank you Enatai Parents!

Enatai Staff Appreciation Week May 6-10th was a great success! We had an event every day to our show gratitude for our dedicated and hardworking Enatai staff. We provided staff with flowers, candy bar, catered lunch, thank you cards and finished off the week with a coffee bar. It could not have happened without the support of the whole community.

Thank you to EVERYONE who participated by donating, volunteering or both to make the week so successful!!! A huge thank you to Nibbana Thai Restaurant for catering the amazing all staff lunch on May 8th.

Coming Soon for 4th Grade Parents: Preparing Over the Summer requests for Haunted House, Spooky Spaghetti, and 5th Grade Sweatshirts.  Remember, every 5th grader will participate in their grade's activities, so all the help you give supports your student!
