Potato Story Book Character Project!

Potato Pants! by Laurie Keller is a children's choice award nominee book.   Mrs. Lee the Librarian will be reading this book to kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students.

ALL students at Enatai will have an opportunity to create their own potato character based on a children’s book and have them displayed in the library. We need your help with bringing in potatoes for the students!

Please SIGN UP and drop them off in the Front Office or Library anytime between October 7th-15th.

Egg Drop Challenge Update

Thank you Parents, Staff and Bellevue Fire Department Ladder Truck 107 for making the Egg Drop Challenge a success at Enatai this year!

We had over 157 projects entered.  The students, staff and parents enjoyed watching the projects being dropped from the fire ladder during the student's lunch recess.  Just over 40 projects had a successful drop without cracking the egg. If you are interested in helping co-chair this event next year, please contact programs@enataiptsa.org.

PTSA Members: Directory order deadline 10/15

Attention PTSA Members!  The order deadline for this year's printed directory is October 15th!  The printed directory is ordered once a year and only available to PTSA members.  This directory contains the most complete Enatai family information available for public release!

Want to contact classmates during the summer or after 5th grade?  Our online directory is reset each summer for new student information.  The printed directory is your best bet to keep in touch!

If you haven't ordered this yet you can do so through the Join PTSA link.  Members can add the directory into their online shopping cart and check out with a credit card.  Not a PTSA member?  Add a membership to your cart in addition to the directory!

Enatai Families:  Do you know of a business that would benefit by becoming a 2019-20 Enatai Corporate Partner In Education?  Join by Oct 15th to get your business in an ad in our student directory!  You can read more about the Corporate Partnership program in this PDF.  If you have questions, please contact corporatepartners@enataiptsa.org for more details.

Bellevue Schools Foundation’s Fall fundraising

The Bellevue Schools Foundation’s Fall fundraising campaign is underway! Our goal is to raise $300,000 this Fall from parents like YOU. Public funding is not enough to fund the exceptional programming that makes Bellevue Schools the best in the Nation. Donate here or at BellevueSchoolsFoundation.org to fund the following programs in our schools:

-Training for 40+ additional counselors to address student stress, anxiety and depression;
-Training for teachers to integrate cutting-edge Computer Science curriculum in every classroom;
-Libraries in our classrooms with characters and narratives that reflect our District’s global culture;
-Mentoring programs that provide one-on-one support for students in need;
-And more!

On October 22 and 23rd, your dollars will be matched 1:1 during our Annual Clickathon event. Stay tuned for more information on ways to donate in October to make sure our students have everything they need to succeed.
