As we wrap up the first days of the year, having welcomed our Kindergarteners just this morning, we at the PTSA wanted to extend a warm “Welcome back!” to all our students and families. It was so great to see all the kids coming to school together for their first full-day in-person instruction since March 2020. Looking for a Reflections Program Chair
Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful not only in school, but in life. Students in pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art in response to next year's theme, "I will change the world by..."  Click here for more info. The Bellevue High School Volleyball Program, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue , is hosting the 6th Annual Junior Wolverine Volleyball Camp August 9-13, 2021 (Session 8). The camp is perfect for beginners who are looking to learn the fundamentals of volleyball as well as more experienced players who would like to refine their skills. Interlake High School Robotic's Team online summer camp for elementary students.   July 19-23 (Intro to Scratch; 5 days) July 26-30 (Advanced Scratch; 5 days) August 2-6 (Beginner Engineering Concepts; 5 days) Students can be introduced to Scratch, develop advanced projects such as games, and get a feel for engineering! With the schools opening in-person this year, Backpack Meals for Kids will return to our model of providing weekend food packs. We will need volunteers to help deliver the packs from the district warehouse (12037 NE 5th) to the individual schools on Thursday mornings beginning September 16.
