Eastside Heritage Center to Host "Old School Enatai: The Inside Story"
Eastside Heritage Center (EHC), the region’s leading historical society, will host a presentation of “Old School Enatai: The Inside Story,” given by Enatai parent Sharon Pang. The free event, scheduled for Saturday, December 8, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., will be held at EHC headquarters, 11660 Main St. in Bellevue. It will be open to the public. The show features a plethora of pictures and compelling details about how our school came into being with the help of community-spirited Enatai residents.
Pang began research for the slide show over two years ago at EHC, which maintains a vast collection of documents and artifacts about Eastside history. She said the event site is especially fitting because it was there where she unearthed in its files the first historical facts about early Enatai. Previously, Pang has shown versions of “Old School Enatai” at school events, and to various classrooms when requested by teachers.
A goal of EHC is to promote appreciation for area history through educational programming and community engagement. Click here for further details.
