Enatai families turned out in big numbers to see Toy Story 4 at the first Movie Night of the year last Friday, with a record 148 kids entering the prize drawing for The Movie Night Sofa. Helping to draw the winning ticket was a special guest, alumnus Darla Vail. Mrs. Vail started in 5th grade at Enatai in 1953 when the school first opened.

Congratulations to the Wan family! Desmond Wan, another Enatai alumnus, won the grand-prize seating on The Movie Night Sofa, and he invited his brother, Matthew Wan (3rd grade), to join him.

The evening included a family game show prior to the screening. Kudos to siblings Kara Kang (3rd grade), and Gavin Kang (4th grade). The Kangs, with their Grandma Susan, won the game show by answering Enatai trivia questions, and prevailing in a tie-breaking hula hoop contest.

Many thanks to these parent volunteers for staffing Movie Night: Jack Castro, Chris Fletcher, Keiko Nakamura, Rae Okamoto, Claire Phillips, and Jon Shoemaker. Thank you also to the many parents who stayed to help clean up the Multipurpose Room following the film.  Thank you to Mrs. MacDonald for her kind and generous support of Movie Night.
