Very important people are coming to CELEBRATE ENATAI AT 65, Tuesday, February 6, 6:00-8:00 p.m.: The Honorable John Chelminiak, Mayor of Bellevue will join us, and he will be making a special 65th anniversary announcement. Also joining us will be King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci, and Bellevue City Councilmembers Conrad Lee, John Stokes, and Janice Zahn.

Don’t miss out! It's not every day that elected officials come to elementary school events. Come welcome them, and show them our Enatai spirit!

Enatai Elementary opened its doors in 1953, but the history of our property goes farther back. In 1883 the very first public school in Bellevue – a little log cabin – was opened by early settlers on our corner of SE 25th St. and 108th Ave. SE. Enatai is the cradle of public education in Bellevue! We at Enatai follow a long legacy of families that value learning.

At the event, the Enatai Choir will perform, and there will be a display of Enatai memorabilia. Also on view will be an exhibition featuring antique toys that show what kids did 65 years ago for fun. For those who’d like to learn more about school history, there will be a slide show presentation in the Library (recommended for 4th graders and up).

We still need volunteers for this event. Click here to sign up.
