Letter From The President

Hello Enatai Eagles!

Welcome to November! We had such a great time at last weekend's Enatai PTSA Trunk or Treat and Haunted House! A major kudos to the 5th grade and our event Chairs Lauren Gray, Sarah Bryan, and Pam Unger, and a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered to help, donate, or run a trunk!  We're already looking forward to next year.  Fourth Grade families, we'll have a meeting in the spring to talk about next year's Haunted House!

The School Board and Bellevue School District Executive Leadership will be coming to Enatai this month (Tuesday 11/14) as part of their monthly school visit rotations. PLEASE COME to the family session at 8:05a in the STEM room. You can learn more about the roll the School Board plays in the district, ask questions, and give your perspective on how things are going at Enatai. It would be great to have a good showing of the Enatai community!

Lastly, I've been getting quite a few questions lately about Enatai PTSA Membership.  I wanted to make sure everyone knows that Joining the Enatai PTSAdoes not mean that you must go to meetings, serve on the board, or anything else.  Becoming an Enatai PTA is simply the best way to say, "I support the Enatai PTSA!"  There are benefits to joining, and you certainly can pitch in however it makes sense to you -- we hope you will!  But there are no requirements from you when you become a member.

There are scholarships available for Enatai PTSA Membership.  If your family would like a Membership scholarship, please click the link above, order a membership for your family, and select "Pay by check" on the membership page.  Then, email Robin at membership@enataiptsa.org and let her know, so she can apply the scholarship to your membership.

The PTA is an annual membership, so if you have not joined yet for the year -- please sign up today!  There are membership awards that we are eligible for when we increase our membership, and we want to WIN!   Not that it's a competition (not really, anyway... ;)), but Medina PTA gets 100% Membership every year!  If they can, WE CAN!  So let's go, Eagles!

Warmly,
Kerry Hill
President, Enatai PTSA

School Board Visit to Enatai

Every month, the School Board and BSD leadership visits a different school in the district, meeting with staff, families, and students, in order to hear directly from school communities on how policies, procedures, and district directives are impacting students.

On Tuesday, November 14th, the School Board Directors and BSD leadership will visit Enatai Elementary School. The time for them to meet with families is from 8:05a - 8:35a in the STEM room. Come meet our elected Board Directors, ask questions, and get answers on questions you may have, while providing a critical voice in the district decision making process.

BFF with BSF!

So, what’s a BFF?! A Best Friend Forever, of course! And what’s BSF? Well, hopefully you know us by now, but if not, here’s an intro.

This year, Bellevue Schools Foundation is contributing nearly $1 million to support essential programs throughout the entire school district that directly benefit OUR students. Because, whether you have students in the school district or not, all students in Bellevue’s public schools are OUR next generation of leaders and changemakers.

If you are a BFF of BSF already, you know who you are! You have donated any amount to the Foundation with the understanding this contribution will create the best possible learning outcomes for all students in Bellevue. Not yet a BFF of BSF, but want to join us? It’s easy!

Your investment in YOUR students as a parent, alumni, or friend of the Bellevue Schools District is an investment in OUR community—one that requires we all give and partner with one another to move our society forward.
