Spooky Spaghetti & School of Screams - TONIGHT!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at the Spooky Spaghetti & School of Screams Students Haunted House!  Everyone is welcome to come in costume, but please remember no weapons, gore, or masks.
 
If you did not pre-order, we will have a limited number of Spaghetti dinners for sale at the event, and you can buy additional Haunted House tickets as well.  We will accept cash, check, and credit card at the event.
 
**Note:  For our youngest Eagles, we will have a "Lights On" time to enjoy the Haunted House between 6-6:30 PM.  We want all our students to be able to enjoy everything this event offers!  The 5th grade has been working hard to create a fantastic Haunted House, and we hope everyone has fun with it and all of the additional Halloween Activities!   
 
It's going to be a SPOOKTACULARLY GOOD TIME!
 
 

Veteran's Day Assembly 11/8

We invite all Veterans in our community to attend our Veterans Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 8th at 9:00 am in the Enatai gym.  The Enatai Choir will sing and our students will honor Veterans through songs. 
 
All students are encouraged to wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE on November 8.

 

  

Read-A-Thon Winners Announced!

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our 2017 Read-A-Thon!  Our students read a total of 54,731 minutes, which is equal to 912 hours, or 147 school days worth of reading.  We raised a hair shy of $20,000 which will support educational programs & experiences that will enrich and enhance learning for every Enatai Eagle!  Way to go, Eagles!  
 
If your student participated, they will be coming home today with a bookmark that is good for a Free Public Skate Session & Skate Rental at Sno King Ice Arenas!  It is valid at their Kirkland or Renton locations.

Mrs. Bell, Ms. Maxwell, and Mrs. Chun's class had the greatest participation in our Read-A-Thon and will receive a Popcicles on the Playground Party!  
 
Congratulations, Eagles!  Everyone who participated should be really proud of their accomplishment.

Backpack Meals Needs Delivery Drivers 

Backpack Meals for Kids is a non-profit organization that works with the Bellevue School District to provide free, easy-to-make meals each Friday for students who may not otherwise have food to eat over the weekend. We are looking for a few interested parents to share delivery of meals to Enatai Elementary on Thursday mornings.  You would pick up bags of meals from the BSD warehouse between 9:30 and 11am on Thursday morning and deliver them to Enatai.  Are you interested in helping out? Enatai Dad Dr. Erik Suh has a team of providers, including a family physician, naturopathic physician, registered dietitian, massage therapist/life coach, and aestheticians to provide the most comprehensive treatment.  Thanks Dr. Suh and everyone at Suh Esthestics/Eastside Primary Care & Wellness for supporting our Enatai Eagles!

 
 

Community Corner

BELLEVUE HIGH SCHOOL PIANO RECITAL

Students and Staff from Bellevue High SchoolChinook Middle SchoolMedina Elementary, Enatai Elementary, Clyde Hill Elementary and Woodridge Elementary Schools are invited to perform on our lovely grand piano in the BHS Performing Arts Center during the recital on Monday, November 20th, 2017 at 7:30pm.  All performers must audition by sending a video of the piece you intend to perform.  All qualified auditions will get to perform!  The deadline to apply is Monday, November 13, 2017.

FREE FRIDAY ART ACTIVITIES WITH BELLEVUE HIGH'S NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY!

We are Bellevue High School’s National Art Honor Society (NAHS). Our club works extensively throughout the community to promote creativity and inspiration in our youth through structured art activities. For the past four years, NAHS has been hosting Free Friday Art Activities (FFAAs) at the Bellevue Arts Museum from 4-6pm to provide children with access and the opportunity to enhance their artistic skills and interests. This month's FFAA will be on November 3rd from 4-6 pm.  Questions?  Email bellevuenahs@gmail.com.

 

PANTHERS YOUTH RUGBY

Parents: are you looking to get your child out of the house and into fresh air? Are you looking to have your child learn strong teamwork ethics, life time values; use proper technics, and develop skills to play the sport well with safety in mind?  Check out Panthers Youth Rugby Club in Bellevue/Redmond! Panthers Youth Rugby Club is a dynamic, family oriented, and well organized Youth sports club dedicated to promote youth development through the game of rugby, develop appreciation for team work, discipline, and mental health, as well as individual excellence. All our coaches are background checked, and certified by rugby USA.

Join! No experience necessary. Become Rugby ready with our coaches from France, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, and the US during this Winter and enjoy playing friendly games and competing when the game season starts in Spring.

Who: 1st through 8th graders

When: Free sessions for prospects on Tue & Thu at 5pm in Oct & at 5:30pm in Nov. Practices at Highland Middle School and Grass Lawn Park.
