December Cookie Blizzard 12/11

Almost there!!  We have had a wonderful response from our school community this year!  Just 21 more signups will provide all the cookies and helpers we need for our staff members this holiday season!  Cookies and treats are due in the Enatai office by Wednesday, December 11th at 8:15am!

For the month of December, the Staff Appreciation Chair coordinates a "Cookie Blizzard" for our dedicated teachers and staff members.  An annual favorite, each staff member goes home with a wonderful assortment of cookies!  To be successful, we need EACH CLASS to contribute 6 dozen cookies (homemade or store bought).  Please participate in this all-school Appreciation event for the Holidays!

Yearbook Cover Contest

Get out your pencils and start designing the winning picture for the 2019/2020 Enatai Yearbook! The pictures that stand the best chance of making it to print are ones that are creative, original and include the year (2019/2020), school name (Enatai Elementary) as well as the Enatai eagle logo.

Deadline Friday January 17th. For more information, the Enatai eagle logo, and details click here. The holiday break would be a perfect time for interested students to work on their Yearbook Covers!

Cornell Univeristy Chorus and Glee Club visit Enatai 1/9

The Cornell University Chorus & Glee Club are coming to Enatai on January 9th.  One of our own Enatai parents is a Cornell Glee Alumnus and initiated this visit to Enatai (thank you!).  This is an amazing opportunity for our students.  CUGC performs internationally and is a critically acclaimed performing group.  The CUGC will do a choral workshop with our 5th grade students for 30 minutes and then put on an assembly for the entire K-5 school.

Thank you to our Enatai PTSA for sponsoring this visit by providing lunch for our visiting musicians.  https://www.cornell.edu/video/glee-club-chorus-commencement-concert-2017

The Enatai PTSA Curriculum Enhancement Committee sponsors special assemblies, field trips, and other enrichment activities for our Enatai students using funds donated to the Enatai PTSA.  If you would like to help us provide lunch for the approximately 100 singers coming on this tour, please visit our website: DONATE: CUGC visit.   Thank you!

Babysitting Co-Op MEET and GREET this Sunday, December 8th at 7pm
There is a wonderful parent-led babysitting Cooperative that has been in operation for over 30 years and was started by Enatai moms. The basic idea is that you do babysitting swaps and trade hours instead of dollars with other local families. It’s well structured with a chairperson and rotating Secretary that keeps track of the sits and the hours. If you are looking to add another element to your childcare, please consider becoming a babysitting co-op community member. Session is super informal and a great time to ask questions.
