Thank you to everyone who came to Curriculum Night! For those of you who were unable to come or had to miss the presentation in the Multipurpose Room due to having multiple classrooms to visit, the PTSA has created the following video. Mrs. MacDonald's portion starts right away; the PTSA portion starts at about 18:00.
Our Curriculum Night also offered a special presentation of "Old School Enatai: The Inside Story", the history of how Enatai Elementary come to be. Originally presented for our school's 65th anniversary, this slide show was created by 4th grade parent, Sharon Pang. See more about it here: Old School Enatai Facebook.
Pay for your PTSA Membership before Friday, September 21st to receive a free gift! In order to remain a member in good standing, PTSA Memberships must be repurchased each school year. Simply use this handy link or click the "Join PTSA" link on the left menu of our website. Our Early Membership Thank You Gift offer ends on Sept 21! Please join and send in your payment by September 21st to get a Free Eaglewear Youth T-shirt from our Fall Eaglewear Order Event!
Did you send in a paper membership order? Once we received your payment we contacted you via email to notify you of your free gift and request your student's name and shirt size. Reply and email us this information to get your T-shirt in the Fall Order! If you think you submitted an order and payment but have NOT received this email, contact us at membership@enataiptsa.org
Paying by check? We MUST receive your payment by 2:30pm on September 21st in the PTSA drawer in the Main Office for you to qualify for this gift!
Update your Website Information! After you have renewed your membership, please take a moment and log into your account at www.enataiptsa.org and update your information for the year. Be sure to set your students’ grade level and teacher if you haven’t already done so. Your Eaglewear (including your free gift) will be sent to your student's classroom! Third Graders, we will work with you and the administration to get your information ASAP.
Enatai Needs You for Picture Day! Parent volunteers are needed to help keep our classes orderly at the photographer's room and to escort classes to and from their sessions. Picture Day takes the entire school day, so sign ups are divided into two hour shifts. Free for more? Sign up for more than one shift! The Main Office has requested a minimum of 2 volunteers be on hand to help at any time. Report to the Main Office for instructions and directions.

Looking for a Super Hero Helper!
Our Art Specialist, Jenny Davidson, is looking for a few Super Hero Helpers to volunteer their time on a flexible basis. Parents may be asked to help hang new student work in hallways or prepare spaces for display. Times are flexible!

We are very happy to have Mike and Teresa Kang join us again this year at the Golden Eagle level. They have two local businesses, Factoria Family Dentistry and Teresa Kang DDS, PLLC Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. The Kang Family is proud to be able to support their kids as well as all Enatai students and staff! Thank you Kang Family for your generous support of the Enatai PTSA!
The Scholastic book fair will be coming Oct 1-5th. There will be lots of great new books including Super Narwhal and Jelly Jolt, Dog Man Lord of the Fleas and Ranger in Time Hurrican Katrina Rescue. Students will also have the opportunity to pre-order the latest Dairy of a Wimpy Kid-The Meltdown.
Our Evening Book Fair Night will be October 3rd from 5:30 - 7:30pm! Come with your family to browse for books for your family reading time! Additional activities to be announced.

Backpack Meals for Kids is a non-profit organization that works with the Bellevue School District to provide free, easy-to-make meals each Friday for students that may not otherwise have food to eat over the weekend. We are looking for a few interested parents to share delivery of meals to Enatai Elementary on Thursday mornings. Backpack meals are picked up from the BSD warehouse between 9:30 and 11am on Thursday morning.
