Read-a-thon begins with books and pledges next week!

The 2019 Read-A-Thon is coming up!   Information packets will be going home in students' backpacks early next week.   Parents, please ask your student to see their Read-A-Thon packet! It contains FAQs, a calendar, a sample sponsor letter, a pledge sheet, and a reading log. All of these materials are also available to download and print from the Read-A-Thon page on our website.

Once students have their packets, they should spend time gathering reading materials and asking family and friends to sponsor their reading efforts. Remember: any assigned reading for school counts for the Read-A-Thon too!  Audiobooks and being read to also counts!

Sponsors should be people you know.  There are special participation prizes so please let your teacher know if you need help finding a sponsor.   Reading Week is the week of Thanksgiving and completed packets and donations are due Friday 6 December. Happy reading!

Transportation Safety Chair Update

Thank you Amy MacDonald and all of our Enatai Families for your support at the morning drop off circle these last 2 weeks! I hope you have felt a bit of improvement in the time in and out of the lot. Thank you so much to all of the parents who have volunteered so far keeping traffic moving; Claire Phillips, Susan Goeben, Cheryl Evanson and Thuy Wolf. I couldn’t have done this without your help.

If you are able to volunteer to help with traffic flow from 7:45am – 8:00am any morning of the week, please reach out I would love an extra set of hands!

Just a few friendly reminders:
  - Drivers, do not exit your vehicle at any time in the drop off circle.
  - Parking is prohibited in the handicapped spaces unless you have an appropriate placard displayed.
  - Do not drop your children in front of the handicapped spaces. We have families that need to access those spaces to bring their children into school on time and they are unable to reach them when they are blocked
