Academic Adventure: Multicultural Travel Posters

 Hello Academic Adventurers!

The next school-wide Adventure is Multi-Cultural Week, coming right up the last week of March.

To earn Academic Adventure credit, create a travel poster to encourage people to visit a country that interests you. Multi-Cultural Poster instructions available here.  And yes, you will receive a sticker for completing this adventure!

The deadline to turn in the poster is Wednesday, March 18. Your poster will help decorate the school for the International Taste of Enatai on Friday, March 27.   Posters should be no larger than 24"x36" and no smaller than 11"x17". There is 11"x17" paper available in the office for any student who would like to make a poster.

Happy Travels!

Multicultural Week is coming 3/23-3/27

Multicultural Week is coming to Enatai!  March 23rd through March 27th is Multicultural Week, a celebration of the diversity of Enatai's community.  With recess cultural workshops and special decorations and displays, this week is a treat for our Enatai students.  See our green flyers coming home today in students' backpacks for opportunities to help with planning, decorating, or the cultural workshops.  You can sign up online here: Multicultural Week Volunteers

Our family night, the International Taste of Enatai on Friday, March 27th features our Enatai families sharing food, crafts, and games from their cultural heritage and includes a "Fashion Show" of traditional regional clothing worn by children (and adults) on the Enatai Stage!  This celebration of our community is not to be missed!  Opportunities to contribute to the International Taste of Enatai are coming after Mid-Winter Break.

Scholastic Book Fair Wrap Up

Our February Scholastic Book Fair a BIG success! We sold over $8,000 in books at the fair!  That's a lot of books!

Many thanks......Thank you to the volunteers that helped each day! Thank you teachers for allowing students to visit the fair during classroom time.  Thank you parents who shopped the fair for both your students and teachers! And finally thank you to those parents who set up eWallets for your students!

We Need Your Classroom Valentine Party/Field Trip/Grade Level/Assembly Photos

The Yearbook has created an Shutterfly Enatai Yearbook photo share site to help us store photos for possible use in the yearbook. High resolution photographs with 2 or more students works the best when designing the yearbook. Do you have photos that you are interested in sharing with us? Please email yearbook@enataiptsa.org for an invite to the yearbook share site or you can email us the photos for the yearbook committee to upload.

Thanks for your help!
