Jog-A-Thon Update

How is your student doing on your Jog-A-Thon pledges?  We are trying to raise enough money to add an additional assistant to support our students' education and their recess supervision next year. To meet this goal,we need everyone's help. Some students have already reached their $100 goal, and many have even surpassed it. GO EAGLES!!! Please participate at a level that is comfortable and meaningful to you.  All funds donated are 100% tax-deductible and are used to support every Enatai Eagle's education.  For more information on how and why we fundraise, check out our Fundraising 101 webpage.

If you've lost your packet, you can download another 2018 JOG-A-Thon packet here! It has all the details on this FUN event, including how to use our online fundraising system, PledgeStar.com/Enatai.  This online system is SO easy to use and takes only minutes to send pledge requests.

Please attend one of the coffee hours on 5/17 or 5/24 from 7:45am - 9:00am to understand how the PTSA budget works. Then attend this cocktail hour to understand the experiences of the event chairs and consider chairing or helping out with an event next year. PTSA budgets both income and expenses based on events that we have held historically and have chairs for the upcoming year.  Events without chairs run the risk of being cancelled.  Your participation is needed to sustain the events important to your family. The 2018-2019 Budget will be voted on at the June 13th PTSA General Membership meeting. 2018 Art of Discovery Volunteers Needed!

The Art of Discovery Project will be heading to Enatai June 5, 7, and 8!

This long standing Puget Sound area program brings original artwork to students in their schools giving them an opportunity to experience art up close and discuss them with their classmates.  This years theme is Animals in Art and consist of pieces by local artists such as William Cumming, Carolyn Krieg, Linda Okazaki , Phillip Levine, Rick Bartow, Lawrence Beck, and Helmi Juvonen.

In order make this a successful event we need your help to lead groups of approximately 6 students through the Art of Discovery exhibit over a 2 or 3 hour time span.  If you are interested please go to our signup page for more information here.  Our art teacher, Ms. Davidson, will also hold a brief training session which you can sign up for here.

Please let Ms. Davidson (davidsonje@bsd405.org) or Cheryl Lo (enataiartdocent@gmail.com) know if you have any questions about this event.
